In this newly added video of the week, Coach Stricklin from the University of Georgia talks about his favorite drill to use in practice for his team.
He says that anytime they do a drill he tries to make it as competitive as possible and he does this by always keeping score.
His absolute favorite drill: live ground balls.
He has his hitters try as hard as they can to hit the ball on the ground so his defense can get game-like reps and work on reading the ball off of the bat of a live hitter.
This is a great drill to use in your practices to make your practices are more competitive and improve your defense at the same time.
